Order of the Raven
Yeah, everybody plays a bit of WoW. It still isn't my favourite MMO - and never will be until I can play a woman who doesn't look like a willowy child compared to the male of her species - but then, my favourite MMO was executed last year and I still haven't recovered from the shock >_<; Anyway, Talen and I and our friends finally got invested in WoW after Cataclsym had given the early levels a giant enema and brought some really interesting and hard 5n content.
Here's the blood elf contingent of our Horde guild, the Order of the Raven. Cheat sheet from Left to Right:
Rapace: A novelist who is cunning enough to outsmart demons at their own contracts, thus is a Warlock on the side. Famous under a pseudonym for writing trashy romance novels, of which Su is a big fan. He's supposed to be lean and fit, but not particularly strong.
Lasutrael: An egotistical, lazy Mage trap who was "bought" by the Order when his family fell on hard times and his party-girl-academy-student debts subsequently came home to roost. Sennin is technically his partner, though Su is an unfaithful tramp and Sennin is fine with that.
Sennanguin: The "nice boy", a Paladin who has a patient, friendly nature and working-class values (mostly due to a bit of early-life head trauma). He's broadly well-liked and is Commander Aveil's favoured subordinate, given how well he "knows his place".
Taelras: A bouncy Death Knight originally from Dalaran, who is sort of like Pinkie Pie with an axe. As a Blood Knight, she's both tough enough and masochistic enough to "tank" the Commander's affections, and still tease her for more.
Aveil: The Guild Master, an abrasive former Commander who was kicked out of the military for deliberately becoming a Death Knight. In public she's a heartless military mind; in private she's a vicous sadist, especially when Tae's boobs are nearby.
I really enjoyed drawing this, flawed thought it is (largely because I drew it over three separate pieces of paper, with poor Sennin right on the line). I like contrast between characters, even when they are of the same race and gender. It's always kind of amazed me that Talen plays Tae in a way that seems jubbly and hourglass-shaped, even though in game she has to have exactly the same body as sharp-edged, mannish Aveil; I consider this a testament to his role-playing skills.
I know, it's cheap to play Horde-side and make a bunch of Blood Elves, but fuck off. In any case I also have two female tauren and an orc woman who would chew your face off given half a chance >:
